Imagine a country shaped by the forces of nature, where majestic glaciers watch over wild, mysterious landscapes. It was against this backdrop that we embarked on a memorable journey through Iceland along Route 1, also known as the Ring Road. This main road, which circles the island for 1,332 km, served as the central thread of our thrilling photographic adventure.

For over five years, Iceland had been calling to the child in me, searching for new playgrounds. Fascinated by tales of majestic glaciers, dormant volcanoes and lunar landscapes, I finally decided to answer that call. So, together with my wife, I set off on a 12-day photographic road trip, travelling the length and breadth of the island at the wheel of a small jeep, ready to capture every moment.
